Jamil, thank you for this highly informative and valuable information. I struggled for days trying to fix my Moto g5s plus, asked various IT savvy friends to no avail, asked friends who work at Lenovo same result, was ready to give up, throw away my worldly possessions, go to remote mountains and live under a tree the rest of my living years contemplating what I did wrong in life to cause the mobile phone gods to have cursed me when I found the youtube video, followed the instructions and re-set my phone. Then I clicked on the link to the article associated with the video, it is even more precise and concise, instructs how many seconds each each button must be held down and released etc. I can’t thank you enough. sincerely, an old not very tech savvy guy in Tokyo.
