Hello friends, I am again with another interesting post. Today I’m going to tell you how to delete a folder in windows that are not deleting in Windows 10 and it does happen from time to time when you want to delete a file or folder that can’t be deleted. So this makes you angry and you are unable to properly organize your folders, let’s delete that annoying folder out of your computer.
You tried very hard, but you cant getting any results. After reading this tutorial you can also delete them. First, you need a basic knowledge of CMD (command prompt) which is generally pre-installed in a Windows 10 / 8 / 7 computer. Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Search Command Prompt in Windows and run it as administrator.
Step 2: This will open up the Command Prompt.
Step 3: Type del /? to delete the file that is not deleting.
Step 4: This will give all the Tiny switches which you can use. For instance /P, /F and /S and so on and they do all different things.
Step 5: So we are going to use /F that is force deleting the read-only files. You have also got delete specific files or all directories if you do /S.
Step 6: Type CLS for clearing the screen.
Step 7: Then type the command del /f and the path of the file that you want to delete.
Step 8: And then if you press enter it will delete that file.
Ways to Remove The File
Step 9: Now there are ways that you can use to remove the file through software which you can use if you wish. If you have files which are really stubborn ones.
Step 10: There one called boot. Now boot on move is a really old program but it is pretty good at removing files on a reboot. Just put a tick in the box on the file you want to remove and then reboot the system and it will remove.
Step 11: Unlock is another one that people use like to use but the only problem is I don’t recommend this because of the License in there so don’t use these types of software.
